Anyone know anything about starting up a fireworks business ?

Went to 4 places tonight in my town and all 4 of them were practically sold out so it seems like the demand is more then the supply .

I do own some land at a location that would be a good spot to open a stand.

Has anyone had any experience or know someone in this business ?

How much does one make being open only 2 times a year ?

I did it 12 years ago with a buddy because we said why not give it a try, and we have a lot we sell Christmas Trees on...

I just did it through TNT, though, so our profits weren't as high if you just bought it wholesale and did it yourself, however, it was still well worth it, enough to do it again for the following 4th, and it's a great way to see what's up and they do everything but provide labor, cash register, and fire extinguisher...

For a week, the highest we could've made with the inventory we had was $5k, and we made $4k. I would think you could come close to doubling that on your own, but you'll need your own building, $25k in inventory, etc.

We still talk about the crazy people and stories today, absolutely hilarious...
